I have decided to sell off a substantial part of my tarot collection over the next few years. Some I will put up on Ebay but most will be available through the series of pages on this site. These can be bought direct from me, paying using Paypal. I will try and put up a batch of twenty five or so each month. The most recently added being placed at the beginning of the file. As a long term and well known collector, you can trust me to supply good quality decks at a fair price. If you require your item to be sent with International Tracking this will cost an extra $12 or €9. Please email me at Adam@alchemywebsite.com and I will send you a Paypal invoice for this amount. Celtic Tarot - Davis Courtney Davis and Helena Paterson 78 cards and book
Celtic Tarot - de Burgh Julian de Burgh and Mary Guinan 78 cards with book Hierophant renamed to 'The Druid'. The watercolour paintings do not rely on hard pen drawn outlines, so the effect is a soft ethereal image. Emblem on Minors do not slavishly mirror the Rider-Waite prototype, and though related to these the artist felt free to create her own forms.
Destiny Tarot Kay Struthers and Jacqui Mair 78 cards with book
Dreampower Tarot R.J. Stewart and Stuart Littlejohn 78 cards and book All cards are untitled and unnumbered. The book identifies them as forming a set of 22 Majors trumps, a set of Court and pip cards for four suits, however, apart from this the deck has no conventional or recognisable tarot structure. Incomprehensible without studying the text, which seems to present an idiosyncratic exploration of ideas only distantly related to tarot and personal to the author.
Grail Tarot John Matthews and Giovanni Caselli 78 cards with book Idiosyncratic reworking of tarot within the context of Templar interpretation of the Grail Legends. The Majors are completely renamed and most do not follow the traditional tarot forms. The Suits are Lances, Swords, Vessels and Stones. Courts are renamed to Brother, Preceptor, Master and Lady. The artwork is collaged primarily from 15th and 16th Century Italian paintings.
Intuitive Tarot Cilla Conway 78 cards with book Each image is set in an oval form. The emblematic Minors follow the pattern established in the Rider-Waite, but are reworked in Cilla Conway's flowing style. The curved form of the oval appears often within the card images, and curving flowing lines are a key component of her artwork. Created in 1979 when it was entitled the 'Cothic Tarot' but not then published. Supplied in a box with a paperback book.
Magickal Tarot Tony Willis and Anthony Clark 78 cards with book The designs incorporate complex geometrical and magical symbolism, angel names and Kabbalistic ideas found in Aleister Crowley's Book of Thoth.
Norse Tarot Clive Barrett 78 cards with book Based on the Gods, Sagas and runes from Viking Norse mythology.
Servants of Light S.O.L. Tarot Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki, Elizabeth Josephine Gill and Anthony Clark 78 cards with book The Majors were first created by Josephine Gill in the late 1970s. When the idea arose for publication it was necessary to produce designs for the Minors. Gill felt unable to undertake this and this task was given to Anthony Clark. Suits are Weapons, Crescents, Spheres and Staves. Emblems for Minors do not follow the Rider-Waite prototype.
Shakespearian Tarot Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki and Paul Hardy 78 cards with book The suits are Scepters (Wands), Crowns (Cups), Swords (Swords), and Orbs (Pentacles). The court cards are Lady, Lord, Queen, and King. This deck was conceived of by Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki the leader of the UK based Servants of the Light esoteric group. Each card has a line from one of Shakespeare's plays.
Truth Seekers Tarot David Fontana 78 cards with book
Wildwood Tarot Mark Ryan, John Matthews and Will Worthington 78 cards with book This tarot derives in part from the Greenwood Tarot of 1996, which Mark Ryan created with the artist Chesca Potter. The designs for this new deck are by Will Worthington, who re-envisions Chesca Potter's images rather than slavishly copying them. The card names rare substantially the same as the earlier deck, which renamed the Majors. Thus the Fool is The Wanderer, Magician becomes The Shaman, Priestess The Seer, Empress, The Green Woman and so on. The suits are Arrows, Bows, Vessels and Stones. The idea is of a return to a romanticised shamanism based on a magical encounter with the natural world.
