Description:
Although these mimic pen and ink, they were in fact created in a vector graphics program. Each line and point of each curve had to be painstaking entered by hand, thus many hours went into creating the artwork. This painstaking work shows in the smooth flowing curves and the lines that delightfully trail off into the background, however, this is not a technical exercise, but a work full of humour and expression. Jessica Rose Shanahan is able to use the demanding medium of vector graphics to create a deck which communicates directly with the viewer, each card image being a little narrative scene, full of humour and drama.
