France
Art Medium:
Watercolours.
Description:
In 1992 Musée Lilim, a French association, was founded by Hennie Boshoff in the medieval city of Carcassonne , and was under the directorship of Peter Lamia and Rossetta Woolf. Together they created a living museum of collaborative arts projects - rooted in the spiritual and cultural history of the Mediterranean. It was dedicated to the figure of Lilith (the rebellious first wife of Adam) and her children, the Lilim. This tarot arose out of that creative ferment. The deck was so named as it was inspired by a friend of Rossetta Woolf named 'Aleph'.
