Cambridge University is hosting the Visions of Enchantment Conference on March 17-18, 2014. http://www.visionsofenchantment.com/#!programme/c8k2 I am minded to attend, but it may not be possible. |

I met Paul Cowlan at the Alchemy conference in El Escorial in 2008. He was very entertaining. I am sure Rafal, who was also there, will remember Paul. |

I did manage to attend the conference. There were a handful of talks that I found interesting. Many of the papers were rather too postmodern for me - some even adopting the complex linguistics of Michel Foucault. I prefer more straightforward expositions. |
