The Summum Bonum by Fludd (or Frizius) is now available in a German translation: http://cgi.ebay.at/SUMMUM-BONUM-Robert-Fludd-magie-rosenkreuzer_W0QQitemZ320228855008QQihZ011QQcategoryZ64313QQcmdZViewItem |

That is interesting. I note this publisher has issued a number of titles, some on alchemy, but many on 19th and 20th century occultism and esotericism. They are also using a number of my coloured images for the covers of their books, without my permission. I cannot understand how people are getting hold of high res scans of my images. They can only do this by illegally cracking the encryption of the pdf file I supply on my emblem discs. It is rather depressing because I am quite happy to allow these to be used for a very small fee. Perhaps someone is even distributing these files to unsuspecting publishers. |

There is, of course, an English translation of part of the Summum Bonum in Paul Allen's Rudolph Steiner Anthology. |

I noticed that a copy of Fludd's Utriusque Cosmi maioris scilicet et minoris metaphysica, physica atque technica historia in duo volumina secundum cosmi differentiam divisa [and] Tractatus secundis de naturae simia seu technica macrocosmi historia... Oppenheim; Hieronymus Gallerus for Johan-Theodor de Bry, 1617-18. is currently (April 2008) for sale on Abebooks from a UK dealer for £13,500. |
