. The University of Delaware had until December 2012 an exhibition of alchemical texts from their special collections. In “Perfecting Nature: Medicine, Metallurgy & Mysticism”, some uncommon frontispieces and plates were on display. http://www.lib.udel.edu/ud/spec/exhibits/alchemy/index.html The ten sections can be browsed from the list at the bottom of the page. -Hermes Trismegistus, The Great Work, Islamic Alchemy, Philosopher’s Stone & Elixir of Life, Medicine, Metallurgy, Mysticism, The Alchemist’s Laboratory, Emblems, Glyphs and Allegories, Rosicrucians. ![]() Last edited on Fri Aug 30th, 2013 07:29 am by Carl Lavoie |

Please forgive me if this is old news to forum members, but a co-worker has just drawn my attention to this exhibition, which was on display in Philadelphia at the same time as the one in Delaware: http://www.chemheritage.org/visit/museum/exhibits/alchemical-quest/index.aspx |

. Thank you Laura. Is it a mirror on the vignette adorning the title page of the Coelum philosophorum (the 5th image) ? http://www.chemheritage.org/visit/museum/exhibits/alchemical-quest/slideshow.aspx If so, one more for the catoptics thread. . |
