The Bibliothèque de l'École des Chartes is a journal dedicated to the study and use of medieval manuscripts. 1. Persée provides access to back issues from 1961-2000 (and to many other journals): http://www.persee.fr/index.do 2. Gallica provides access to back issues from 1839-1936: http://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/cb343785784/date Access is free and unrestricted. In the case of Persée it is also possible to set up an 'account' (also free), which offers additional facilities such as tracking one's research history, creating document baskets and receiving e-mail alerts. |
