The issue of Histoire littéraire de la France 41 (1981) with the much quoted article on the alchemical works of John of Rupescissa by Robert Halleux is available from archive.org:

There is also an article on a less known (to me at least!) English mathematician and alchemist active in France in mid-14th c. -- Philippe Elephant.

There is a thesis about Elephant by Paul Cattin (École des Chartes):

L'œuvre encyclopédique de Philippe Éléphant: mathématique, alchimie, éthique (milieu du XIVe siècle). 1969.

Elephant's alchemical work is contained in Cambrai, Bibl. mun., 919, f. 66-75.
