Recently I have come across the mention (Bachmann / Hofmeier) of an alchemist's working diary of the year 1895. It is kept at BHP Amsterdam, the signature is Ms. M95, 83.

So far I have failed in finding some more information about that diary at the BPH's website or somewhere else.

I also haven't been able to turn anything up.

You might like to send them an e-mail. I have always found the staff there forthright, friendly and informative.

Leigh, thanks for the hint. I already sent an email to bph@ritmanlibrary.nl more than 10 days ago, but no response up to now. I can't imagine that nobody is aware about that specific Ms 95 dated from 1895 because it should kept in their archive!
