There is a well known painted portrait of John Dee in the Ashmolean in Oxford. I wonder if a painted portrait was ever made of Edward Kelly during his period in Bohemia. There is, of course, a well known engraved portrait made for the 17th century book by Issac Casaubon, A true and faithful relation..., but I cannot recall ever seing a painted portrait. Does one exist ?
