A male and female Atlas figure each hold a globe upon their shoulders, assisted from above by an angel radiant with light. The male Atlas holds aloft a sphere showing a Sun over a sea or horizon over which two suns are rising and setting. The female Atlas holds a globe depicting the Moon over a sea or horizon over whch two moons are rising and setting.
