"C. G. Jung referred to the Emerald tablet 54 times in his Collected Works. According to him, the compact and cryptid text, dating probably from the 8 th century, states the basic steps to achieve the filius philosophorum, an experience of the Self and a manifestation of mercurius or consciousness. We explain each component of the Emerald tablet with Jung's quotes and his teachings on alchemy leading the reader to the very heart of Analytical psychology."
