Dorothea Juliana Wallich
#1
Dorothea Juliana Wallich also: Dorothea Wallich or D. J. W., née Fischer[1] (* 1657 in Weimar; † 1725 in Arnstadt) was a Thuringian alchemist and is thus one of the few women known as alchemists. She wrote three alchemical books, which were published in 1705 and 1706. Karl Christoph Schmieder assumed that she had only published her father's manuscripts; however, he also considered her authorship to be possible.
