A copy of the Du Chanteau diagram was auctioned at Manosque last month. Estimate: 2000 to 3000 euros. Not sure what it went for.

Notre exemplaire a la particularité de comporter tout à la fin de la quatrième carte une discrète mention imprimée, faisant référence à un Apothicaire de Bruxelles et à Tycho Brahé, astronome danois, auteur d’un calendrier publié en 1582, qui aurait fortement inspiré du Chanteau.

Our copy has the particularity of having a discreet printed mention at the very end of the fourth chart, referring to an Apothecary of Brussels and to Tycho Brahe, a Danish astronomer, author of a calendar published in 1582, which might well have heavily inspired du Chanteau.
