Edinger describes alchemy as the “anatomy of the psyche,” linking the search for the philosopher’s stone to psychological transformation. For Ruznic, this framework makes painting a site of change. The canvas behaves as an alchemical vessel where raw impulses are recast, while the painted surface records the reaction."
