1. Frontispiece engraving. 116x67mm. Six classical planetary gods and goddesses, draw the triumphal chariot of antimony. Vulcan with his hammer and blazing furnace steers. In the chariot a woman sits and holds out her hand to Mercury with his caduceus. A man, his head wreathed in flowers and bearing a flaming torch, holds a ring around these joined hands. From the clouds above a cherub throws down flowers. "Romyn de Hooghe fecit. 1671."
