A naked woman, a Venus figure, stands upon an inverted tetrahedron in the sea to the right of Mercury. She holds a torch downwards in her left hand and another upwards in her right uniting with Mercury's torch. Where the torches meet is a long-necked flask, at the neck of which is the Moon and the Sun shines in the heavens above. "N. Bonnart f." The text below is "Ut vivant flammas falsis extinguit in undis, accenditque udis coelestis ignibus ignes".
