Each of his vanquished enemies carries in one hand a banner with an emblem (a scorpion, double-woman-headed snake, salamander, griffin or winged dragon, spider in its web, coiled snake), and in the other a symbol of the art (armillary sphere, tongs, book, flask, alembic, etc.)
