Tarot of Stones      2008      Japan                                                   Art Medium: Description: Each of the 22 Majors is associated with a precious or semi-precious gemstone which is depicted on the card imagery. Thus the Lover is rose quartz, Strength is cat's eye, the Hanged Man is malachite, and so on. As with the Dragon's Tarot, these have been printed onto soft matt thick card on a high quality inkjet or giclee printer, which has somewhat softened any hard edges in the drawings, to give a diffuse effect.
