Description:
Brazilian Candomble is a living, spiritist religion that originated with the Yoruba people of West-Central Africa and is similar to Santeria in its worship of the Orixas, or Orishas. Orishas are supernatural beings, named as "Eleggua", "Xango" and "Yemanya" . The 25 Major each correspond to one of these Supernatural beings. The Suits each have 13 cards, 10 pips and 3 court cards. There are 25 Majors, 19 of which correspond closely to one of the traditional tarot arcana.
