Description:
The Tarot of Wicca was created by H. Kitagawa, under the direction of Mokuseioh. Its symbolism draws on pagan, kabbalistic and new age ideas. It has references to Stonehenge, Mayan temples, magical wands, and dolls, with such elements of Western magical ritual, as cauldrons, sigils, and candles. The Major arcana even make some references to pre-Raphaelite paintings, Holman Hunt's The Light of the World (Keble College, Oxford) and Rosetti's Beata Beatrix (Tate Britain). Some cards renamed. Empress to 'The Mother', Emperor to 'The Conqueror' and the Tower to 'The Thunder Bolt'.
