Description: Joanna Powell Colbert prepared her images using posed photographs which she modified using Photoshop, then printed out a tracing on top of which she created the final images using the medium of coloured pencil. It took her nine years to create the artwork. Some of the Majors are renamed - 0 Fool - Seeker; 3 Empress - Gardener; 4 Emperor - Builder; 5 Hierophant - Teacher; 7 Chariot - Canoe; 12 Hanged Man - Tree; 15 Devil - Bindweed; 16 Tower - Lightning; 20 Judgement - Awakening; 21 The World Gaia. The Courts are renamed Child, Explorer, Guardian and Elder. Emblems on Pips do not draw on the Rider-Waite prototype.
