Gundamwing Tarot      Ugeppa      Japan                                                   Art Medium: Description: The Gundam Wing anime was first shown on the main television network in Japan during 1995 and 96. It inspired Ugeppa to produce a beautifully designed tarot. The deck we are presented with is almost quite traditional in format but the cards all focus on characters from the series. As a token gesture, the artist has allowed 'gundams', the mobile mechanised fighting suits in the anime, to be intrude into the backgrounds of a few of the cards.
