Description: Eight images of a set of coloured woodcuts appeared in the article by F. Stahly 'Modern Packs and playing-card Tradition' in Graphis, 26, Vol 5, 1949. The article suggests that these were shortly to be published in a limited de luxe impression by Audin of Lyons. Jean Bertholle(1909 - 1996) was a French painter in a somewhat cubist style. A set of ten Tarot card linocut prints made in 1938 (Height 24 cm. Width 16 cm) are recorded.
