Description: This tarot has also been devised as a card game, the rules of which, by Mike Fitzgerald, are included in the booklet accompanying the deck. The images for the Majors follow the tarot archetyes closely, but the pips of the Minors present scenes from the story. Each card also bears a short statement localising the imagery in the plot of the book. Thus the Magician, bears the text "Gandalf commands the material elements of the universe".
