I've been adding Duveen page numbers to my bibliography, and have just come across an interesting problem.
The book is the odd "Hermeticall banquet". Duveen has 'Spagyricall' in the title, and 'Andrew Cook' in the imprint.
I have an electronic image of the book in front of me, and the title page definitely says 'Spagiricall' and 'Andrew Crooke'.
Is this a rare error on Duveen's part or is there a variant version?
ESTC has the spagiricall/Crooke version
COPAC mostly has this, but also has some with spagyricall/Crooke
Cataloguers compounding the problem!

Hi Alan,
Looks like a mistake to me:
1. Full title is "A Hermeticall banquet, drest by a spagiricall cook: for the better preservation of the microcosme", so the cataloguer presumably had cooks on his/her mind when typing the rest of the entry.
2. Incidentally, a copy was sold in the recent Lenkiewicz sale:
http://www.lenkiewicz.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=84&Itemid=59&limit=1&limitstart=2
3. Regarding publication date, this seller claims to have a first edition dating from 1650 when the date of first publication was surely 1652(?):

4. The spelling "Spagyricall" would appear to be another error by the cataloguer - only 6 hits on Google versus 275 for "Spagiricall"!
5. Andrew Crooke was in loose partnership with someone called William Cooke [sic], which may have added to the confusion. See:

Thanks, Paul
I thought a mistake too, with 'cook' on his mind.
As far as publication date is concerned, the entry from ESTC is interesting:
Attributed sometimes to Thomas Vaughan or to James Howell. Cf. Halkett & Laing (2nd ed.).
The first leaf is blank.
Thomason received his copy 16 December 1651.
Annotations on Thomason copy: "Decemb. 16. 1651"; the final ’2’ in the imprint has been crossed out.

Here is the EEBO entry. Both attributions (to Howell and especially to Vaughan) seem unlikely on stylistic grounds.
Title: A Hermeticall banquet, drest by a spagiricall cook for the better preservation of the microcosme.
Author: Howell, James, 1594?-1666,
Other authors: Vaughan, Thomas, 1622-1666,
Imprint: London : Printed for Andrew Crooke, and are to be sold at the Green Dragon in S. Pauls Church-yard, 1652 [i.e. 1651]
Date: 1651
Bib name / number: Wing (2nd ed.) / V149
Thomason / E.1306[1]
Physical description: [38], 161, [1] p.
Notes: Attributed sometimes to Thomas Vaughan or to James Howell. Cf. Halkett & Laing (2nd ed.).
The first leaf is blank.
Thomason received his copy 16 December 1651.
Annotations on Thomason copy: "Decemb. 16. 1651"; the final '2' in the imprint has been crossed out.
Reproductions of the originals in the Huntington Library (Early English books 44:2) and in the British Library (Thomason Tracts E.1306[1]).
