Great news for historians of alchemy who don't read Czech. The giant volume edited by Ivo Purs and Vladimir Karpenko on Rudolfian alchemy, which appeared in 2011, has just been published in English. Nearly 900 pages in A-4, with numerous illustrations and fascinating new research from many Czech and international contributors. It may be ordered from the Institute of Art History, The Czech Academy of Sciences -- by contacting Blanka Švédová at svedova@udu.cas.cz

If I'm reading the currency right, it costs about £42, which does make it affordable to me.  I shall get a copy sime time next year.
