Thanks for the information abiut this book. It had escaped my attention. I have now gone and bought a copy. Somewhere among my pile of papers I have a typescript listing of the items in Winthrop's library which a colleague compiled a number of years ago. I had read a few articles by Ronald Sterne Wilkinson in Ambix and another journal written around about 1963, so it will be interesting to see what more recent research has turned up.
