Someone asked me if I knew of an engraving or woodcut portrait of the early 17th century Dr Francis Anthonie, the writer on the Aurum Potabile.

I feel sure there will be one, but I cannot locate one in any of his books.

There's no portrait of him in the entry concerning his life in the Dictionary of Biography (online edition), although, of course, such a listing is by no means definitive.

I believe there's a memorial to him near the North Chancel in the Church of Saint Bartholomew the Great in Smithfield, London, but whether it includes a bust or other image I know not:
