AFAIK, it is totally free. I am using it for special symbols in my bibliography.

Available from http://shapecatcher.com/unicodefonts.html (and other places on the Internet, if you do a Google search). Latest version appears to be 706

On the subject of fonts I have recently been transcribing some Renaissance Greek with ligatures and found the following font useful:

The charts are also worth downloading and contain useful information if you are trying to read ligatured Greek.

Diacritics are inserted separately - you just go back and insert the appropriate diacritic.

There are some very critical remarks in the Comments section but I haven't come across anything better.
