I was at the University Library today and managed to get a copy of an old, yet interesting article by Allen Debus on the late 18th century alchemical enthusiast Ebenezer Sibly.
Medical History, 1982, 26, pages 259-278. Scientific Truth and Occult Tradition: The Medical World of Ebenezer Sibly (1751-1799).
It seems a rather good survey of his life, ideas and writings, well worth having.
