I was hoping to find online an transcription of an English alchemical poem by Francis Thynne (1545-1608) which is found in Ms Ashmole 766. I was hoping it would be in Robert Schuler's book of Alchemical poetry, but I cannot find my copy at the moment and I don't think it is found in the contents which are online.
Thynne was an alchemist and herald active during the Elizabethan period and knew Lord Burghley and many other key figures of the time.
Has anyone seen this piece? Or even an extract? I am reluctant to spend the money on having a scan, or more likely a microfilm, made of it.

There are a few quotes in:
The Writings and Manuscript Collections of the Elizabethan Alchemist, Antiquary, and Herald
Francis ThynneAuthor(s): David CarlsonSource: Huntington Library Quarterly, Vol. 52, No. 2 (Spring, 1989), pp. 203-272
which I have, but looking through it I am unsure if any of it counts as alchemical exactly, even if it uses the right words etc.

Tynne's name does not appear in Schuler's index.

I have been in touch with David Carlson, and it appears that some years ago he intended to collaborate with Schuler to prepare a transcription of the Thynne poem, however for various reasons this project did not come to fruition.
I will now obtain a scan from the Bodleian and see if I might be able to transcribe the piece, or even find someone willing to do this.
