Description: Vanessa Decort received her degree in graphic design and illustration at Sint Lukas Art School in Brussels. She became an illustrator for children's book and cover art. She was much attracted by astrology, Jungian psychology, alchemy, Kabbalism and symbolism and this informs the complex of symbols of brought together in her tarot designs. The emblems on the Pip cards follow the Rider-Waite prototype but expressed in the artist's style. The imagery in some places appears to be influenced by the Thoth deck.
