Description:
Gianni Novak was an early member of the Italian literary movement Gruppo 63. He created illustrations for a number of books and experimental theatre. He had many exhibitions in Rome and some international exhibitions. This tarot was commissioned as a promotional item by Alitalia and edited by Biancoenero who later published his 'Gli Arcani Maggiore dei Tarocchi' Biancoenero Edizioni, 1984. Supplied in a cardboard box with a leather top. Supposedly the link with Alitalia is that the images are designed in the form of nautical maps and navigational charts.
