Visual notes
1. Vessel sits like a chicken in a coup or cage.
2. The hanging egg is my addition, but there was a hanging plum bob on the actual machine.
3. Alchemical symbols line the walls like wall paper. This was done by applying gold leaf to masonite then painting the wall with oil paint, then scratching off paint with scraping tool to expose gold.
