Chart of Alchemy printed books in English

This is a chart showing the history of alchemical publication in English. There is a small trickle of publications during the latter half of the 16th century and the first half of the 17th century, with no significant rise during the 'Rosicrucian' period. There is a sudden explosion of publications in 1650 and the number of books then gradually decreases and tails off toward the end of the 18th century.
